Life's a beach in Pawleys Island!
Brokenhearted, New York actress Roxanne Frazier welcomes the escape from the hustle and bustle of the big city to take the lead in a beach-town dinner theater show. It's the solace and sanctuary that she's needed ever since her world came crumbling down.
But then he walks in...
Back into her life
And her memories of her worst nightmare
Believing she'll never forgive him for that fateful night, Tieg Miller will do anything to rectify the past and ease Roxanne's pain. As a man of pure, unfaltering faith, he has no intentions of falling in love with a woman who has no place in her heart for his God. When all is said and done, can Tieg walk away from the love of his life or will faith trump fate in a world of miracles and mysteries?

I have enjoyed discovering the world of Pawleys Island and getting to know the people whose lives have been changed by this wonderful place. I looked forward to each book in this series by Laurie Larsen. She develops the characters and their stories fully and believably. In fact, I hate to see the series end and having to say goodbye to these folks. This book focuses on Roxanne and Tieg, whose first date ends so tragically Roxanne feels compelled to leave New York and escape to Pawleys Island. Upon returning to New York she and Tieg set out to solve the shooting and disappearance of several animals in order to find out what happened to her German Shepherd. I don't want to spoil the story for you. If you haven't read the series, start at the beginning and build up to this book. If you have followed the series, you'll find a lot if loose ends get tied up neatly in this book. However, that leads to one if my complaints: Roxanne and Tieg deserved to have all of the attention focused on their story and not sharing so much of the book with all the other storylines. Skipping back and forth among so many different characters and stories was confusing and jarring, to say the least. I'm not sure why Laurie chose to change the style of writing for this book, but I found it disconcerting. And, although I recognize that this is Christian fiction, Laurie seemed to spend a lot more time "sermonizing" in this book. Other than that, this was a satisfying end to the series. Now I'm looking forward to an actual visit to Pawleys Island and The Old Grey Barn one of these days.Product details

Path to Discovery Pawleys Island Paradise Book 5 edition by Laurie Larsen Religion Spirituality eBooks Reviews
The book is confusing at first as it jumps around with different people. One you understand and follow the people you will love it. The characters are so in touch with God and they follow their faith. It is so refreshing to read about people who follow God's wishes. I truly enjoyed the book and will be looking forward to reading more of Laurie Larsen's books.
I have read all the Pwleys Island Paradise books and Loved them all. This one was the best of them I think. It tied up a lot of the loose ends and left you feeling awesome. Faith is just that. Knowing that God has a plan for you and everyone.
Thank you again Laurie.
Two separate love stories, so real, stories that mostly take place in NYC. Issues which are relevant in today's society are at the heart of the stories. Having visited NYC many times, I remember how it felt to see the tourist attractions mentioned in the book and how the author described the characters' reactions to the sites, or even remembering the neighborhoods in the book. The characters are well developed and their emotions so real. Thank you for your insight and allowing the readers to join you in this story.
I loved all 5 of the Pawley Island Paradise Books. From the first one to this last one, I was quickly drawn into the inspirational drama of each. I recommend all five books to everyone who enjoys inspirational romance.
Roxanne Frazier learns that Tieg Miller isn’t the arrogant, uncaring actor she thought. However he’s sending her such mixed signals she doesn’t know what to think. But when a mystery materializes, they work together to to solve it. Can they also solve their personal problems?
Jasmine is super busy with her fashion designing job in New York, even after hours and on weekends, and Dax doesn’t seem to understand why she can see him now. On top of that, he wants to take care of a boy who’s lost his foster home. Can life get any more complicated, and what does God want of them in all this?
Path to Discovery had less mistakes than others in the series and it read quickly. I noticed only 1 h*ll at 43%. “Jas” was used once when it was “Jaz” elsewhere, and “about she and Dax’s” was incorrect. However, that’s all I saw. This author writes a very good story, and I would read more of hers.
Once again the story was difficult to put down. It intertwined two different tangential plot lines with a wrap up at the end. Elements included were suspense, romance, a healthy look at what Christian relationships are all about, and thought provoking insights into foster kids and their predicament. The characters had real dilemmas presented by their faith and showed the willingness to allow God to guide them. Really loved this one!
Roxanne and Tieg had a nice first date but unforeseen circumstances push them apart for six months.
Jasmine and Dax are engaged but apart because of their job and Dax being a Big Brother to Pedro,a foster child.
Leslie discovers she is adopted and left in a phone booth and Jasmine discovers the birth mother's identity.
, causing problems.
Six months later they all come together in their path to discovery.a quote from the book brings it all together.
"The mysteries of faith you don't see it, just believe it,and you rest in the knowledge that God wants the best for you"
I enjoyed each journey and each character but was excited to see Pedro's reaction to his first trip to New York.
This is book was nice addition to the series.
